The Law Firm of Wilson Poirier Byrne was founded by Barrie Wilson who was called to the bar in 1960. Andre Poirier, who was called to the bar in 1973, joined the practice in 1998; and Tom Byrne, who was called to the bar in 1993, joined in May of 2000. On December 31, 2001, Barrie Wilson retired from the practice of law. He was a general practitioner and was certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a specialist in civil litigation.
