The Cornwall Public Library has a long and proud history dating back to its humble beginnings in 1890 as a Mechanic’s Institute. The library has seen many changes since its official incorporation in 1896.
Today, the Cornwall Public Library is housed in a beautiful historic building and offers fully modern library services that rival bigger city libraries including a wide-ranging collection of books, magazines, newspapers and audio-visual materials in English and French, plenty of reading and study space, clubs and programs for all ages, a teen space, free Internet access, and a dynamic Young Adult and Children’s library with exciting and educational book-based programs.
To learn more about us and the programs and services we offer, please visit the Cornwall Public Library Website.
